Creatzi maintains a corpus of 119 job roles. Each one carries a set of technical skills, core skills and keywords that real postings for that role tend to use. It is what powers the resume examples library and the suggestions inside the builder.
This post puts that corpus to work. Below are bullet point examples for ten roles, written against the actual keyword sets we maintain for them, plus the structural pattern underneath every good bullet.
The pattern
Every bullet worth writing does the same three things in the same order:
- A strong verb that names what you did, not "responsible for", which describes a job description rather than an action.
- The domain vocabulary a screener is matching on. This is where the role's real keywords belong: the named tools, systems, methods and certifications.
- A result, with a number wherever one honestly exists.
Miss the verb and it reads as passive. Miss the vocabulary and keyword matching finds nothing. Miss the result and it is a job description, not an accomplishment.
A note on numbers: if you don't have a metric, don't invent one. Scale works as a substitute: team size, caseload, ticket volume, portfolio value, number of systems. It is verifiable and it still gives the reader a sense of magnitude.
Software Engineer
Vocabulary the corpus carries for this role: JavaScript, Python, React, Node.js, Git, REST APIs, SQL, testing, CI/CD.
- Built and shipped a React and Node.js feature used by 12,000 monthly active users, cutting the checkout flow from five steps to two

Registered Nurse
Vocabulary: patient care, clinical assessment, medication administration, HIPAA, EHR, vital signs, IV therapy.

Adapting these to your own work
Do not copy these. They are structural examples, and a bullet describing work you did not do is worthless the moment someone asks about it in an interview.
Use them the way a scorer does: read your existing bullets against the vocabulary list for your role and ask which named tools, systems and methods are missing. Then check whether each bullet leads with a verb and ends with an outcome. That is usually where the gap is. Most people have done the work and described it passively.
