Free ATS resume checker: see your resume the way a machine does.

Before a recruiter reads a word, an applicant tracking system reads it first. Upload your resume and see precisely what the ATS extracts, and what it silently drops.

Good resumes fail for boring reasons.

Almost none of them are about your experience. They’re about how the file was built, and every parser hits the same walls.

Two-column layouts

Side-by-side layouts get read straight across, interleaving your skills into your job titles.

Tables & text boxes

Dates parked in a table cell or a header often vanish entirely before a human ever sees them.

Scans & image-only pages

A resume exported as an image has no extractable text at all, so the parser sees a blank page.

How the checker works

01

Drop your file

PDF or DOCX. Nothing is uploaded. Parsing happens in this tab.

02

See the machine read

Name, roles, dates, skills, exactly as extracted, gaps included.

03

Fix the gaps

Carry the parse into the builder and export a file that reads cleanly.

Questions

Is the resume checker free?+

Yes, completely free, with no account, no email and no credit card. Upload a resume and read the report.

Is my resume uploaded anywhere?+

No. Extraction and parsing run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The file never reaches a server, so there is nothing for us to store.

What does the confidence score mean?+

It measures how much of your resume we could read: section coverage combined with how completely each parsed entry filled in. Low confidence points at the file’s structure, not the quality of your experience.

Which file formats are supported?+

PDF and DOCX, up to 10 MB. Scanned or image-only PDFs contain no extractable text, and the report will say so.
